School Year 2023-2024

Dear Arcola Families,

Welcome to the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) at Arcola Elementary School. We are advocates for our children and believers in proactive parent involvement in our public schools. We work with Arcola teachers, staff, and administration to make it the best neighborhood school it can be, but we need YOUR help! We invite Moms, Dads, Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents to contribute to the Arcola community.

The PTA raises funds to provide a wide range of enrichment programs for the students including:

• Class field trips

• Math and science assemblies

• Support the 5th grade graduating class

• Educational enrichment and after-school programs, and much, much more.

We ask for your support so that we can make resource and learning opportunities available to our children. Whether you have 30 minutes or a couple of hours, your ideas, your time, and your talents are truly needed. By joining the PTA or just volunteering your time, you will interact with the kids, meet other parents, and accomplish things that truly make a difference.

We promise that the time you give to the PTA and the school will be worthwhile—and fun! Please consider volunteering, it really does make a difference in the lives of all our children!
